b.suite is braille transcription software designed specifically for blind users. Developed by Eurobraille, it benefits from more than 20 years of experience in creating transcription software and replaces esysuite.

La suite d’applications b.suite allows users to create documents in different types of braille: 8-dot braille, 6-dot braille, contracted braille, mathematical braille and music braille. It also makes it possible to obtain a transcription intended for sighted users.

Transcription from braille to print and from print to braille

b.suite enables the transcription of mathematics and music from braille to print and vice versa. It therefore offers a solution suited to two-way transcription needs, both for reading and for producing accessible documents.

b.suite and mathematics

A LibreOffice document in ODT format containing mathematical formulas created with the equation editor can be converted into braille in 6-dot braille, 8-dot braille and mathematical braille.

Mathematical formulas are calculable. In braille editing, switching to mathematical mode is done simply with dot 6.

b.suite and music

b.suite allows musical scores to be imported and exported in MusicXML format. Scores can also be listened to in MIDI format.

The software also offers karaoke functions, and the speech synthesis can sing the lyrics.
